FEATHERSTON.
A meeting of film Featlicrston School CV.mniittco was hold on Wednesday night, Mr. W. Benton in tho chair. Tho statement of finances showed a credit balance of £7 4r>. 3d. including capitation, £5 sa. lOd. Accounts totalling £2 _18s. were passed for payment. The resignation of Mr. L. F. Keys as secrotary was accepted, and a voto of thanks was accorded him for his past services. Mr. Saunders was appointed to fill tho vacancy for tho remainder of the torm. Mr. Geo. Honderson, 'of Kahautara, received n nasty kick from n horse a few days ago. Ho was leading it through a gate, when a piece of wood got tangled up m its feet. 11l its fright, tho animal slewed round, and kicked Henderson over tho right- eye, inflicting a wound needing several stitches.
