SCHOOL GARDENS.
Mr. A. R. Mayo, who has, with Mr. Weightman, completed the judging of the schools' garden competition for the Feilding show, told our Manawatu correspondent that he is exceptionally well pleased with the work of the pupils. This new idea, brought into effect by tho committee, is doing good work, and the gardens present a marked improvement upon those of last year.
