SAILORS AT FOOTBALL

The football match between teams represent, ing the warships Powerful and Prometheus, as arranged by Mr. James Moore, of the Missions to Seamon, was played at Newtown Park on Saturday afternoon, in the present of a large number of Spectators. A cool breeso somewhat tempered the heat of the son, and the match was played. with .plenty of Vim. Although' the teams were well matched, the men of tho Powerful won by 6 coals to nil. The conduct of the players i: wi)n ' exemplary, there being no unseemly ."crowing" o?er the result. Mr. Kane, of H.M.S. Pyramuj, had charge of the whistle.
