SOME GOOD SHOOTING. • The handicap pigeon-shooting match, wliifcli was lireil oIF by the Hutt Valley. Gun Club yesterday, was a most successful event. Tlio arrangenientc for the day's shooting were-carricd through with great smoothness, Tim big event'was the. i! 100 open handicap 'mutch, which-resulted in a division of the prize-monev among Messrs. i l '. Gadsby, G. Oudby. ' Kilmister, S. Jensen, and "Ballistite," who killed all their birds. A sweepstake match, ill, was afterwards got off, the first prize being won bif 11. Hancock, while the sscond prize was divided between 11. Eccles and S. J. Gibbous. There was no wind, ami splendid shooting resulted. In the first, round, out <(8 shots, only two were, "second barrels." "Ballistitc" killed 13 out of U birds with his first barrel, while .lenson killed the whole 14 with his first barrel. Mr. ,]..
