A bush fire of groat magnitude, with a frontage of forty miles, is sweeping Edenhopc, a pastoral district 260 miles west of Melbourne. It is supposed it was started by a swagman'.s fire. Settlers at Dorgholm rushed into tho river to savo their lives, leaving their property to burn. Sheep perished by thousands.
