A re-arrangement of tlio Ministry has been made, consequent on the creation of an independent portfolio of Agriculture. Mr. J. Perry (now Secretary for Mines) takos. chargo of tho now department. Mr. W. H. Wood (now Chief Secretary and Minister for Labour and Industry) tnkes the Mines Department. Mr. J. A. Hoguo (now Ministorfor Public Instruction), takes /the portfolio of Labour, and Industry.
Mr. Anderson, Director of tho Intelligence Department, has been appointed Under-Sccre : tary to the new Department of Agriculture.-
jThe plan of the Premier,. J[r. : Wade, was that when..the Department for Agriculture ivns established .on a separate basis, that of Chief t Secretary should ■ bo' abolished and its work should be distributed among the other deportments.
