At the half-yearly meeting of tho L'ommoroial /Banking Company, Sydney, tho net profits wero stated to bo £110,665. A dividend. of 10 per cent, was declared, £20,000 was added to reserve, and £29,377 was carried forward. , To commomorato his sixty years of servico to tho bank, Mr. T. A. Dibbs, general manager, donated £5000 to inaugurate a fund for tho relief of sickness, distress,, and misfortuno among tho officers of. tho bank..
