TO CELEBRATE THE COMING-OF-AGE, Great preparations are being made by tho Committee or the, Masterton A. and P. As- . sociation to marl; tho coming-of-ago of its annual show oil Tuesday . and;, Wednesday, February 18 and li). -Tho greatest care has been bestowed upon • tlio programmo of olasses, which'is now being'circulated in book form over tho length'and breadth of tho country, and, with' liaridsomo J prize, money donations and special giftij, the ..entries which will follow will possibly be the. largest in tho history of -the Association. The value of the prize money in all is over £1000.. Special prizes of silver cups anjl bowls, etc., are , being offered by tho Wolseley, Sheep-shearing Company for .the most pojnts in. English Leicesters ; by .Mr. J. Stuckey for the .best , Southdon'n ram 'under twenty-one mouths; by Messrs. Thomas and Cook. London, for long-wool cross owes under-, and over twentycm) months , (two classus) ; by. Messrs. Fison and Co.. for freezers; by. Messrs. W.'. H.,' A. R., and F. Buick for jumping; by tbe Dixon Investment- Company for tho most points, in fat cattle.-: In addition to tho usual catalogue of an A. and P. Association, there are -classes for horticulture and school children. Entries will close on Saturday, February 1, at 9 with tho • secretary, Mr. G. R.
