JIANAWATU BURIES THE HATCHET. At yestorday's meeting of the Jlanawatu A. and P. Association, notification was received of the cancellation of the disqualification of fancicrs who had okhibited ■ at. tha Manaivatu winter show. The letter conveying the information was from tbo president of tho North Island Poultry Association, and stated that the trouble which had existed between tho Manawa.tn A. and P. Association and tho North Island Poultry Association owing, no doubt, to the fact of tho Jlanawatu Poultry Association being located in l'almerston, had received careful consideration, and ho desired to lay before the Manawatu A. and I'. Association tho efforts that Itavo been made to :>v:>rcorec tho difficulties which had been the causa of so much trouble. In tho first place, the;,' had reinstated Rule 10, which reads:—" Li:enses may be issued to agricultural and other Societies for "shows to bo held under tho rules of the Association, tho fees for such license to bo £1 Is., payable upon the application for such license, which must bo made at least twenty-one days prior to tho date of tho show." Tho amended rule, which debarred A. and P. Associations from having permits issued to them during tho months of Jur.o, July, and August had been deleted. Atfain, the disqualifications placed on certain persons who exhibited at the last Jlanawatu ivintor show had been removed. Yfith the exception of two Societies theso decisions were carried unanimously. He trusted nov; that tho Poultry Association would receive, the support of the Jlanawatu A. and P.
