POLO.
The Wellington Polo Club's annual tournament for the Stead Cup began at Miramar yesterday, when M'auawatu defeated Wellington A by 10 goals to 7. Goals were scored by all the playors. Levin played brilliantly for Manawatu. To-day the victorious team will meet the Wellington B team at 3.30 p.m. Tho latter will consist of J. G. Johnston; C. P. Skorrett, H. F. Johnston, and D. G. A. ,Cooiicr.
