The matron, in her.report, said.that for Christmas week,' several of ■ the patients .wore-allowed a. short leave of. absenco,.,and those, who , remained in the .institution thoroughly appreciated the Christmas cheer provided for tliem by kind friends.. . , ,Tho'reports .were adopted. , The cecrotary was instructed to prepare a report,, giving the names of tho patients .in the Sanatorium and the amounts,'they ;contribute .towards their maintenance. Tenders for tho supply of provisions to both the institutions at Otaki were approved ' ;iis7 recommended by • the. local committee. 'Accounts amounting to £1842 were passed ■for payment.
