Our Manawatu representative points out that thero is at the present time tho Hereford Herd Book, issued at Masterton, . tho JorsGy Herd Book,.issued in.Palmorston, and the Hord Books of the Shorthorns, and othor brcods, issued by the Canterbury. A. and P. Association. The Ayrshire records are dealt with in conjunction with the Shorthorn and othor breads, but our correspondent thinks that, such an important breed as,tho Ayrshire' ought to -bo in. possession of its own herd book. Probably this, is a matterthat will engage the --attention of Ayrshire brooders at an, early date. ...
