MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided over the sitting of tho Magistrate's Court held yostorday morning. ALLEGED BREAKING AND ENTERING. Elizabeth Black and Oenrigis Tollcy, alias Tliomas Freoman, wero charged with, on January 1, having brokon and entered tho dwelling-houso of Rosa O'Hara, Wnnganui, and having committed a crimo therein. On the application of Detective Uroderg, accuscd wore remanded to appear at Wanganui on Tuesday next. MAINTENANCE CASE. William' Portelli, a young man, charged with; on July 4, having failed to provide for hi.? illogitimato child, was remanded to appear at Christ-church on Saturday. INDECENCY. ' Maurico Rcadon, an old man, who admitted having committed a grossly indecent act on the s.s. Maori on Monday evening, was -fined £5, in default one month's imprisonment. • ■
