MEETINCS CONTINUE. S Tho raootings of farmers to discuss tho situation arising out of tho Bhcarcrs' disputo continue to bo held. A largely-attondod meeting of shoep-far-mors nas held at Pahiatua this afternoon (telegraphed our special correspondent' last night), to consider. tho shearers' dispute. Mr. Samuel Bolton presided.Mr. Cooper was chief speaker, and he detailed the demands* of- the' Shearers' Union and tho objections , formulated by tho Farmers Union to those domands. ; Tno following resolutions were - unanimously passed "That this meeting agree, to'support tho programme of,, tho Executive of thoiFarmors , Union, and, agree .to appoint Mr. Loopor as thoir representative m the Arbitjation, Court, and object to appear before tho Conciliation Board " ' ; .'That this, meeting agree to pay fivo I shillings per 1000 sheep towards tho expenses i of dofendmg the farmers' case m the Court" Papers wero numorously signed, agreeing' to this course. ; HA WEE'S BAY FALLS INTO LINE Tho Hawko's Bay 'Executivo of tho Now ■ Zealand. Farmers' Union; held, a -.meeting this afternoon (tolegraphed our special Hastings correspondent last night), when tho Colonial 1 resident s circular as to tho shearers' dispute was read. >■ J On tho motion of Mr. Russoll, the matter wa « rln hands of tho Farmers' Union the motion of Mr. W.
