-O ; (by telegraph-—rn ess association.) Auckland, Docombar 27. A marriod woman, Mrs. W. Martin, died suddenly at her rosidenco in Mackolvio Street, Ponsonby. Slip was having the evening meal with her husband, ami suddenly rose from tho table and procoeded upstairs. jUr. Martin shortly followed, and found her lying on tho hod in a diizod condition. He summoned medical aid, but before it could bo obtained Mrs. Martin died. Tho cause' of death is not known. Clirlstchurch, December 27. Tho body of Georgo Fuller, a bootmaker, who has boon missing since November 20, was found yesterday at Sumner in a lupin patch. A revolver was found by tho sido of tho body. At tho inquest the jury returned a verdict to tho clfect that decoasod shot himself I'hilo temporarily insane. No motive was ascribed for tho act. < ■\ Westport, Docombar 27. A seaman of tho scow Ilaero, known as Long, was drowned in the Karamoa River on Christmas Eve. (niOM OUR BFECIA.L CORRESPONDENT.) Taihapo, December 27. A Tniliape man named Tlios. O'Connoll, whilo drunk, died sitting in n_ chair at Mataroa. At tho inquest a verdict was returned that doath was duo to exposure uftor drinking. A man named Thornton died suddenly nt Ohakuno to-day. No particulars aro available. An inquest will bo held.
