AUSTRALASIAN SQUADRON.
Advico has been received that the Australasian Squadron, headed 'by the flagship Powerful, will leave Auckland on December 27 or 28 for Lyttelton, calling possibly at Napier if tho weathor pormits. It will remain at.'Lyttolton from December 31 to January 20 (with short cruises for gunnery practice, etc.), and will arrive in Wollington on January 21, remaining: until February 1. The Squadron will then return to Australia to transter the command of the station to Sir Richard I'ooro (which may possibly take place at Melbourno). The vessels that will accompany H.M.S. Powerful to Wellington will be H.M.S.'s Challenger, Cumbrlnu (joining from Sydnoy), Prometheus, J&MWkPtonWi Md PjwmMf
