EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION.
A MEETING OF FARMERS. [BY TZLEGIt.irU.— I'KESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, December 19. Mr. W. Pr.yor, Secretary of tlio Now Zealand Employers' Fodoration, addressed a meeting of farmors at Palmorston North today. Ho pointed out tlio necessity of organisation amongst all classes of employers, and tliat the Farmers' Unions should becomo affiliated witli tho local employers' Associations. At tho closc of tho meeting a largo number of those present decided to onrol as moiiibors of tlio Manawatu Employers' Association. Mr. V. Pryor's services liavo been retained to conduct casos for the employers in tho Wellington Industrial District in tlio shearors, dairy factories, and general labourers' disputes.
