PJSTONE KIFLE CLUB. , The Pctonc Kiilo Club continued its.No. 2 (Championship) .A gKregato Competition at Waiwetu on Saturday. Tho conditions worn:— Ten shots at 700 and 800 yards. Following .were the stores 1 > A Class.
The Nn. 2 (Championship) Aggregate will bo continued next Saturday. Kanges—2oo, 500, and 600 yds. (seven shots at each). i__ SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF N.Z. NATIONAL SHOOTING COMPETITION. .The various \ secondary schools throughout, tho Dominion have now completed the firing for tlio National Shooting Competition, the result being a win for Wellington College by 27 points—the, third consecutive win. Twelve teams competed this year, as against" eleven in 1900. Three new .teams—Nelson. Marlborough, and Wailaki—competed for tho first tiino, ■ ;tho first named taking second place in the list. Rangibra and Christcliurch Boys' High School did hot participate this year. Private H. Focke, of Wellington Collego, obtained tho highest score (50 points), a clofco second being Private, lialliilger, of Nelson Collego. Tho following arc the results:—
Aggregate 512 Pte; Foeke's target' nt 200 yds. registered 2355353-20. At 500 yds., 5854455-33. •Members of 1!)0G winning, team. Tlio average score per team for both ranges this year is 123, as against 383 the previous year, a considerable improvement. Messrs. G. G. S. Robinson, Q. V. Bogle, and J. C. Pope, were supervisors' for the Wellington College team.
