Tho Bavarian section of the Navy Lp.ague has seceded in sympathy with Prince Rupert (a son of Princo Ludwig, Regent of Ba.varia), who resigned from membership of tho German' Navy League, as a protest against tho League's persistent agitation against foreign Powers. A meeting under tho auspices of tho Berlin Colonial Socioty decided to support Horr Kern and Herr Revontlow, members of tho Reichstag, who advocate a larger naval programme than tho flovernmont, on tho ground that Japanoso servants have boon seen taking notes on ; tho system of gun control and other installations.
