« . The Star Boating Club got off the heats for tho Senior and Junior Double Sculls yesterday evening, with the following result:—First Heat—C. E. Brider (stroke) and J. Kerslake (bow) defeated P. Tiirnbull and W. H. Brewer by half a length. Second Heat—Banks (stroke) and Robertson' beat Harrington and I?. Brewer by threo lengths. Third Heat—Blackmoro and A. B. Brewer beat Barrou and Davidson. Junior Double Sculls.—: First Heat—Glcdliill (stroke) and Doughty beat Lucas and Ahercrombie by three-quarters of a length, Radcliffe and Ritchie being a length away. Second Heat—G. Wilkinson (stroke) and H. D. Bridge (bow) beat Pye-Smith and Robieson by three lengths, Lewis and Cowles being a length away. Tho somi-finals will bo rowed to-morrow night. -»
