MR. FERGUSON'S RESIGNATION: DISCUSSION AT YESTERDAY'S • MEETING'.' The monthly meeting of tho Harbour Board was held yestorday afternoon. Tho following members were presentTho Hon.' '" " " Tho Chairman reported':—(l) That to suit tho convenience of members ho had given instructions that tho monthly meeting should bo delayed from Thursday, 28, to Friday, ,29. (2) That the tender of Messrs. 'Richardson and Blair for Contract No. 150, for the supply. of ninety fire hydrants for the sum of £172 155., boing the lowest 'and in;.order, has been accepted, and tho. agreement and [ bond executed with Messrs. Edward Richardson and A. AV. Blair as sureties. (3) That tho tender of Messrs. John M'Lean and Son . for Contract No. 124, for the construction of a wharf in reinforced concrete at Clydo Quay for the sum of £30,755 lis., being the lowest and in order, has been accepte'dj. and the agreement and bond executed with Messrs. Oliver Nicholson and Leslie H. Reynolds as sureties. WALKING ON THE WHARVES. Mr. Fletcher raised the question of -A"li.it*' ,tho regulations provided in. regard to. lho public walking on tho wharves.'
