AN INDICTMENT. PEINCE BULOW DEFENDS THE ARMY. "NOT IMMORAL." KAISER AVAS NOT INFLUENCED BY THE CAMARILLA. BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Rco. Nov. 29, 10.43 p.m.) Berlin, November 29. 'Speaking in the Reichstag, Ilerr Spahn, on behalf of the Centre party, complained that the evidence in the action for criminal libel brought by Count Kuno von Moltko against Horr Harden had revealed a state of things, both within and without the barracks, recalling the conditions in heathen days of ancient Rome. Herr Spahn declared that the whole of regiments were infected. Prince Bulow, Chancellor of the Exchequer, protested against such exaggerated and unproved statements. He declared that the German Army and people were thoroughly sound to the core. The nation might trust tho Kaiser to sweep out with a vigorous broom everything hot in accord with the purity of his life and House. Prince Bulow stated that he only heard of such practices last sjlring, and was unable to bring'them before the Kaiser without proof. It was different with tho Crown Prince, whose action ho applauded. When the Kaiser mentioned the subject, he ('Prince Bulow) replied:— "I look neither to the right hand nor to the left. I think only of keeping the escutcheon of your House and of tho army unspotted." Princo Bulow further denied that tho Camarilla had influenced the Kaiser. Such chatter ought to cease. I waR tho Crown Prince, and not the Chancellor, wlm brought the news of the ehuTgos to tho Kaiser. There lias been a disposition in somo quarters to blame ,tho Chancellor for leaving tho duty to tho Crown Prince. I'iinco Billow's reply is that ho had no proof. S:> far, however, it is not clear Hint tho Crown I'rinco had any. Current accounts Btato that he simply laid copies of Herr Jlarilen's paper, "Die Zukunft," containing tlic charges, before his father.
