ST. JOHN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL.
St. John's Hall was crowded last night, wheii the celebrations of tho Sunday sch'ool anniversary were brought to a close uy a 6ocial meeting. About 501) children sat down to tea at G o'clock, anil at a later meeting, a large gathering of children, parents, and friends wore present. A very interesting programme was presented. Club and dumb-bell oxorcises, recitations, and dialogues were 'gone through, the children themselves being the performers in almost every instance. It was ovident that a groat deal of time and labour had been given to preparation not only by tho children, but also by thoso 'of the teachers who had taken tho arrangements in hand. Tho Rov. Dr. Gibb, in calling for a vote, of thanks at the close of the mooting, particularised the services rendered by Misses Eva R«sh and Ivy Scott, and Messrs. Cialloway and Caldow. He further said that the burden of the work of training the children, who sang so well at the Sunday eervicee," had been borne bjr Miss ißiish and Mr. Galloway.'
