EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
[nr TELEGUAi'H.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Chrisichui'ch, November 25. Tile report for the twenty-third week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's third egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that the total has been raised to 28,412, and t'no number of eggs laid during tho week was 1017, an average of 11.1 per pen. The highest totals are:—A. Petrie's white .'leghorns (27), 799; Miss R. Nixon's white leghorns (22). 770; J. Tonge's white leghorns (3.1), 750; AV. Forrest's black orpingtons (26), 751; AV ; O. Sail's white leghorns. (32),. 733; T. Kennedy's silver wyandottes (19), 720; J. J. Parker's white, leghorns (29),. 6fJ9; D. Sturrock's black orpingtons (24), 69"; H. Hawkes's silver wvandottes (1.1), 601; A. AV. A r . Clarke's silver wyandott.es (33), 685; AV. A. Nixon's whito leghorns (31), 635; F. (1. Brittan's white leghorns (34), 668; T. K. Holland's whito leghorns (29), C6S; A. Snodgrass's black orpiugtons (28), 656.
