Yesterday the ' lirst con«ignment of poultry intended for the English: market camo to hand, comprising 2UO vory' fine ducklings from tho farm of Messrs. Kemp Brbthors, of Marigere.' Some of these birds, though only ten weeks' old, weighed as much as s{lbs.,'when dressed and ready for export. It is proposed to make up a couple of crates of prime ducklings and chickens and forward them to King Edward as a sample of New Zealand frozen poultry. The suggestion is meeting with the approval of poultry farmers,, and some choice Auckland birds will probably be forwarded to His Majesty. .
