Norman .Keir, tho Auckland'business man who committal suicide in the Domain sent the following letter to his landlady,' prior to committing the act:— : ' •*■■*. Dear Mrs. Douplas,—l have rather an unpleasant duty tor you to' perform,- and trust you will carry it out-this ,most, unpleasant wish of mine—m the most kindly wav. Business, worries have necessitated my.< taking a very extreme course, and v [ wish"you"to inform my deal-wife that J have met-with an nccidftiit. Put it to her in the manner you think fit. Break it to her. K ently, poor girl, bho has liad exceptional worry, of lato and this last business will not te'nd'to improve matters for her. God knows that she has a been a Rood wile to mo, but 1 roKret to say 1 have, not reciprocated her many kindnesses and deep love for me.
