K Lameiy of Loudon, in 1901, although it is believed . that Lamer has sinco- improved on ;lns 190-4 time. The..Wellington 'representatives won the shield at the New Zealand Championship meeting; The Committee consider that ;the coming season promises to be fiiore snccess-•lul.thati-any of its - predecessors. The financial' result of tho past season was most satisfactory. Since its ineoption. had had to bo'.con- ; tended 1 with, but at the present time tho Centre had fourteen affiliated clubs, with abut 1000 members, as compared with only one club four years ago; The New Zealand Association was established in ISS7, and now had forty-miio affiliated clubs, ivith over 3000 members. i
