BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.

The Benevolent Trustees, mot yesterday afternoon, ■ thero being present:-—Kev. W. A Evans (chairman), Airs. Darvall, Messrs. A.'W. Hogg, M.H.R., H. Cook Goo. London, J. Wakeham, and J. Smith. The Master of the Home (Mr. A. H. Truebridge) reported that there-were at present in the institution 73 male, and 30 female inmates. The , Board, after consideration in committee, recommended that a sub-committeo consisting of tho Chairman (Rev. W. A. Evans), Mrs. 'Darvall, and Mr. John Smith,' should ho set up to go into tho question of utilising tho upper story of tho Oliiro Homo by, means of a lift. Tho matter of special accommodation for the very infirm, was also left .to this committee to inquire into. The recommendations wore adopted. Several applications for relief were thon dealt with, and the Board afterwards .went into committee.
