' o- —— The fortnightly meeting of .the Hospital. Trustees was held in No. 'A Committee Room, Town Hall, yesterday morning, there being ipresent:—Messrs. G. London (in the chair), • itobert .Lee, J. Danks, G. Nash, and J. Trevor. . The statement of finances was as follows General account—receipts, £2058 19s. lid.; expenditure, £1303 19s. 4d;; leav- ■ ing a balanco on the general account of £755 os. 7d. Nurses' account —balance at . ■ bank, £53S lis. Od.; expenditure (sundries), . ;; £19 19s. 9d.j balanco, £513 lis. 3d. . _ , ; The secretary (Mr. R. H. Chinchcn), in his report, showed ) that for * the fortnight' 1 onding October 22, there were 119 male, and 92 female patients. in the gen- . ■ oral hospital; 19 malo and 19 female patients .... in the Victoria Hospital; and 10 malo and ' ' 0 ferhalo pationts in the Seddon Hospital;' : ■ a total of 255 patients at present under the .. . caro of the institution. The fever cases , showed a dccreaso, there being at present l .' 22 patients as against 25 for the fortnight; onding October 8. For the corresponding period, 1906 ,there wero 26 patients. Tho ....... total number, of. patients in the General Hos-. .. pitalwas 201, as against 197 for the corresponding period of 1906.
