Nows from tho wiiie-growiug provinces of Franco, whcro there havo been oxceptionally heavy floods recently, indicates that great havoc has been caused, which it will tako years to ropair. At Porpignim, iu the department of Pyreneos-Orichtalcs; 40 miles by rail from Narbonno, sovon porsons, to escapo death from the floods, took rofugo on the roof of a houso. This did not save them, however, tho whole party being drowned.
