; ' — : — i — ■■ — [BY TELEGRAM.—rRISS'ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, October 14. , The Now .Zealand Utility Poultry Club's third egg-laying competition. at Lincoln College concluded its twenty-first,week on Friday, with a.total for tho week'of 1255 eggs',' bringing the aggregate' to 21,628, an average of 1029 eggs per week. The highest individual totals of the weok 'wero.th.oso_ of J. Tongo's. white leghornsj and A. Petrie's .white leghorns,- with 37 eggs per pen. The following are .the leading' pens:—A. Potric's white leg-, horns (27), 603; T. Kennedy's silver wynndottes (32), 597; Miss Rita Nixon's white loghorns (33), 592; W. Forrest's black Orpingtons (29), 587; W. Knight's black orpingtons (29), 558; J. Tonge's whito leghorns (37), 557.; A. W. V. Clark's silver, wyandottos (32), 549; :D. Sturrock's .black orpingtons (29), S'ICV-H. H'awko's silver wyandottcs (14), 546; W. 0. Sail's whito leghorns (35), 535; A. Snodgrass's black orpingtons (36), 518; J. J., Parker's whito leghorns (34), 510; W. A.
