Tho matter was introduced by Councillor Godbor, who moved: — " That'a special com- 1 mittcb be setup to consider the' advisability of purchasing,' uhdor tlio Public Works Act or ' otherwise, o suitablo area within or adjacent to tho city !for the purpose of erecting worknion's homes." ; •. '"'."' Tho motion was carried unanimously. It was resojved tho Committeo consist of and.ppuncillors Murdoch, M'Laron,. Luke', Biss, Fletohor, and Go'dber.
