An Anti-Japanese riotor has been sontenced to six months' imprisonment. Tho trial of others is proceeding. Melbourne, October 10. In tho House of Representatives, in connection with Mr.' Ramsay MacDonald's speech, the Federal Trcasuror (Sir William Lyno) was asked if it was part of tho policy of tho Government to build a navy, and did thoy contemplate a fight with Japan. Tho Treasurer! replied that the question was stupid. ' The Navy would always bo ready against tho enemies of Australia, but ho hoped thoy would make no enemies.'..
