A Remarkable Operation.

An interesting demonstration of the Lorenz method of bloodless surgery was given by Dr Forbes at the annual convention of the American Osteopathic Association. The operation was performed upon a girl, and was witnessed by 500 delegate?, who applauded the skill with which Dr Forbes reduced an acute dislocation of the hip that the patient had suffered from since her birth. The feat was in every way a remarkable one, and the progress of the girl is to be daily watched by doctors who will afterwards submit a detailed report of the case. The leg has been lengthened by half an inch as a result of the operation. (Advt.)
