Wheat : —There is very little enquiry for Bed Wheats but Velvet is in fair demand at quotations. Quotations : Prime milling Velvet 3s lOd to Is. Tuscan 3s 7d to 3s Sd. medium to good 3s od to lis (id, best whole fowl wheat 3s 2d to 3s Id, medium 2s lOd to 3s Id, broken and damaged 2s 3d to 2s 9d per bushel (sacks extra.) Chaff: —There is no change to report in the chaff market as consignments coming to hand are sufficient for local requirements and there is no shipping demand. Medium and inferior lines arc hard to place. Quotations : Prime oaten sheaf C 3 12s (id to C 3 15s, medium to good £3 os to £3 10s, inferior and damaged £2 10s to £3 per ton (sacks extra.) Potatoes: Very small consignments are coming to hand and prices show a further advance. Medium and inferior sorts have not the same enquiry. Quotations : Prime Up-to-Dates £7 17s (id to £B, medium to good £7 to £7 10s, small and inferior £1 to £0 10s. Straw :—Wheateu 23s to 255, oaten 32s (id to 355, per ton (pressed).
