RIFLE SHOOTING.
CROMWELL V. BANNOCKBURN.
A return match between the above teams was fired at Cromwell on Wednesday afternoon. The weather was cold and a tricky wind puffed across the range at times, which deceived the competitors at the long ranges considerably. Soma good individual scores were recorded, and those of 90 and over were exceptionally good under the circumstances. Victory was eventually gainad by Cromwell by 82 points. The local team provided refreshments during the afternoon. The conditions were : Seven shots, with two optional sighters, at 200, 500, and 600 yards. Appended are the scores :
