MELBOURNE, Sept. 30. Mr Watson, the Labor leader in the Federal Parliament, predicts a great fight at the next Federal Elections, and urges all laborites to strain every nerve to secure the success of the labor cause. Mr Deakin, Federal Premier, sayx he has received a reply from Sir J. G. Ward, who declines to say anything about the Reciprocity Treaty with Australia. Mr Deakin considers tho prospects unfavorable. SYDNEY, September 30. At Narrandera, a boy placed a loaded pea rifle against a fence while he played with a family named Gilberi One of the Gilbert boys got hold of the rifle, when the charge exploded, the bullet passing through the head of one boy, and lodging in the brain of a girl; both have died from the injuries
