During our visit last week to vine of the wards of the Hospital for Incurables, we found a poor Irishman lying, evidently not long for this world. He was much emaciated. To his cot an attendant approached, carrying a large mustard plaster, which she had been directed to apply to the poor fellow’s chest. To our astonishment the following grim remark issued from the patient's lips ; “A!i, nurse, darlinl, what are you going to do wid so much mustard fur so little mate?”
