THE NEIGHBOURS WEREN'T
Two charming sisters arc engaged to two brothers. The young girls occupy the fourth-floor apartment on the south side of the street, and the other day the elder sister was stopped in the street by the young scion of the family who occupy tlie fourthfloor apartment in the house just opposite. “Oh, Miss M ,” said tiie little boy, trotting along at her side, as he had often done before, ‘‘my papa said last night that someone ought to tell you to pull down the blinds, ’cause, if love is blind, the neighbours is not !”
