Holiday-makers- and visitors are steadily arriving -at Pounawea which will 'be well patronised this season. The Christian Convention will again Ibe held there, commencing on Christmas Eve. It is some years since this asenibly was held' at Pounawea, and it is anticipated there will 'be a good attendance. 'Given fine weather Pounawea will increase in popularity during the holidays.
Entries for the 1 champion chop at the local sports have now reached 13, and for the maiden chopi nine.
