TAHATIKA COLLIE CLUB.
ANNUAL TRIALS. The sixth annual trials of the Tahatika Collie Club were held in Mr .las. Friend's paddock on Wednesday, April 10. There was a slight but cold wind blowing, but otherwise the weather was line. There was a record entry of dogs, and the Maiden and All-comers' events were the only ones to be decided. Mrs .las. Friend supplied an excellent dinner, and Air I). Finlayson kindly supplied j the sheep for the trials. Messrs Dal- t gleish and Maider were the judges, and | gave general satisfaction. The trials j proved very successful, and as a result the club has £2O to hand to the Taka- ' tika Patriotic Committee to be divided equally between the Red 'Cross Society and the Y.M.C.A.
