INCHCLUTHA ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting' of the lnchclutha Komi, River nml Drainage Board was held in the board's oflice, Stirling, 0 n Thursday, March :ill. The following members were present: Messrs John' Mosley (chairman), P. Anderson, John Smith, A. J. Bell and A. Kenton. Mr A. J. Bell, who was elected to /ill the vacancy caused by the death of the late Mr A. Bell, was welcomed by the chairman in a few appropriate remarks. CORRKSPOXDKXCK. Arch. Anderson, U. Logie, J. B. MrKinlay and John Askey wrote calling the board's attention to the condition of the road round the front of Mi Logie's property, near the lagoon, ami requesting that it he put in a state of repair. The writers also stated that the road required widening opposite Logie 's gate, and that the flood bank on the road leading to the chicory farm required attention.—The chairman and Mr Smith were appointed to make an inspection and to have the repairs carried out if iiei'i'stsui'v. Accounts amounting to £2O 16s (id were passed for payment. The clerk reported that the bank balance was £l7l Os (id in credit; cash in hand, £ll9 17s Id; total credit, £290 17s I 7d. Kates outstanding, £•>> 17s Id.
