NEW FREEZING COMPANY.

A TAIHAPE PROPOSAL. TAIHAPE, March 18. At a well-attended meeting of district farmers to-day a proposal to take steps in the direction of establishing freezing works at Taihape was discussed. No opposition was offered 1 to the scheme, and the proposal was so enthusiastically taken up that 35 farmers present guaranteed what will make well over '20,000 sheep annually for freezing. A committee was appointed to canvass the district and report to a later meeting.
