CHILD'S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. A thrilling railway accident occurred at Quirindi (New South Wales) the other day. As the north-western mail train was approaching the northern end of the town three little children were noticed in the act of crossing the line in front of the aproaching train. Two fotliem got clear, but the third, a little girl named Hall, three years old, fell, the locomotive and a first-class carriage passing over he before the train could be pulled up. The driver got down, expecting to see the child mutilated, but was relieved to find her crawling out unhurt.
