At Dunedin on F/iday last before MiJustice Williams, Mr D. Stewart moved for a substituted service of a cieditor's petition to adjudicate Charles Hasting Bradley, of Glenomaru, sawmrller, a bankrupt, the petitioning creditor being Hugh Mclntyre. An order was made {or service at debtor's last-known place of business, and the summons for adjudication made returnable for to-day. We understand that the list of creditors show heavy victims for wages, amounting in some instances to nearly £100; also that a well-known tradesman in the locality has been hit for » endurable sum through cashing some of Bradljy's cheques which turned out to be valueless.
