BON VOYAGE.

! f. , MB AND MRS WM. WILSON STIRLING. On Thursday evening of last week the directors of the Stirling Dairy Factory Co., consisting of Messrs Thos Parker (chairman), Jos. Smith, Win. Smith, Wm. Weir, and John Mosley, and Mr R. Byres (secretary), waited upon Mr and Mrs Win. Wilson at their hospitable home at Pen-y-dre, to bid them bon voyage on the occasion of their leaving this week on a visit to the .Home land after a sojourn of l'S years in New Zealand. Mr Wilson has'been a director in the Stirling Dairy Factory Company for the last 17' years and his co-directors wished to present him and his good lady with a small token of the esteem in which they are held. The gifts consisted of a Mosgiel rug for Mrs Wilson and an umbrella for Mr Wilson, both suitably inscribed. Mr Parker, in making the presentation, and wishing them "bon voyage," spoke in high terms of Mr and Mrs Wilson's many Estimable qualities, and wished them a pleasant trip and safe return. Mr Jos. Smith said that Mr Wilson and he had been appointed by their fellow-directors to make some deals* for the Company, and he spoke highly of Mr Wilson's business abilities, and said he could not have had a better mate. Mr Wilson, in a few well-chosen words, thanked them on behalf of himself and Mrs Wilson for their nice [(resents, and expressed his pleasure at having their company that night. Mrs Parker, Mrs Wm. Smith, and Miss Lily Barker were also present, and Miss Barker contributed several songs during the evening, Mrs Smith being accompanist. Severn! of the gentlemen also gave songs during the evening. After which the company partook of n capital supper supplied by Mrs Wilson. Afterwards a few more songs brought a most enjoyable evening to a close. The company before separating joined in singing "Auld lang syne" with hands crossed in the orthodox style.
