BOWLING.

\Y. McLaren (Dnncdin) won the Singles Championship at the, Christchurch tournament. Gale and J. G. Bentley, also of Bunedin, carried off the Doubles Championship. Dunedin, therefore, secured all the honours. Jn the rinks final at the Christchurch tournament, Clinton scored third place, beating Christchuj'ch 26—18. Caledonian were first and Victoria second. Congratulations to the Clinton bowlers on their success, especially to W. Sheddan on his splendid skipping. The Kaitangata Club will again send a visiting team to meet the local players on Saturday. The following singles have been played off :—Hunter beat Roberts, Murray beat John Sheddan, Low beat Hutchins, Hutchins beat Cuff. Members are reminded that all singles for the first round of the President's prizes have to be played off by the end of the week.
