Best milling brought U)» to 1s 6d on truck ; seed, sparrow bills sold at Is fi.J-l; f-ed. Is 4d to Is S^d. Wheat.—Advices just received from London advise a steady rise in prices there, as well as in the American and Continental markets. At the local sales prices have advanced nearly 2d per bushel on last week's quotations* There are no lnrgn stocks in storo at present. Quotations* are J Extra prime mil lino;. 4s n'.f,d to Is 7d; prime milling. 4* 6d ro 4s 6d ; mediant. 4s 2d to 4s 4d } inferior to medium, 'Aa 6J to 4s. Bailey.—This cereal is scarce, the demand being only f.»r primi malting at from 3s 3d to 3a 4d, wliiU- it is difficult to place inferior sorts at from Is lOcl to 2s 6d. Gens-' Seed.— Ryegrass : In this line there U little doing, and there can be no change expected till spring. Stocks being limited there is uo alteration to report. These remarks may al3O lie applied to cocksfoot seed. Chuff —The market is Inn. and prices are firm at last week's quotations. Best is worth IS 59 to L 2 10s ; ordinary, L2 to L2 2s fid.
