The annual statutory meeting of Owtiew, and occupiers of land and householders of the Clutha ] district, for the election of a ne\v School Comitt.ce and other purposes,. was held in the School house here oh Monday evening. The attendance was exceedingly s nail, which mvy be . accounted for, from the fact of the attention of the. public heing more [occupied with political than, educational elections. ■>'•■. •':'"' , Mr, J.
