Horses. — There is still a good demand for heavy draughts and strong' coach horses. Ou Saturday Wright, Stepenson, and Go. sold, on account Messrs K. Symmons, Wm. Thomson, and Boss and Burrel, 51 head of heavy draught mares and geldings, Victorian and Tasmanian-bred, ex Omeo from Melbourne, at from L43 to L7O each. We quote flrstclass draughts, L6O to L7O ; medium do, 1.40 to £50 ; light do, L2sto L 3 5; good hackn and light harness horses, L25 to -L3O ; medium do, 1,14 to JLI8 ; light and inferior, £.3 to L7. Store Sheep. — Inquiries for young merino cheep are reported,' "We quote-: Cross-breds, 4 and 6tootb, I2s 6d ; do, 8-tooth, lOs 6d to Us ; do lambs, : 78 6d to 8s ; merino wethers, 2, 4, and 6- tooth, 7s to 8s : do, full-mouthed, .5a 6d to 6a; do ewes, 2. 4, and 6-tooth, Sato 9s; do do, full-mouthed, 3s 6d to 4a 6d. At foregoing rates Wright, Stephenson, and . Co. sold 1,300 .full-mouthed ewes. H. Driver sold ; 2 000 at the following rates, viz.-: — Croesbreds, 4toothmud upwards, J2s 6d to I3s 6d; d0,2-tooth, lOs 6d to Us ; do lambs, 8s ; merino ewes, 2, *, and 6-tooth, 8s to 9s 8d; do.fall-mcmthed, ss ; do wethers, 2, 4. and 6 -tooth, 8s ; do full-mouthed, 6s to 6s 6d. , Pat Shexp.— The market was fully supplied, 2,000 having been penned. Wright, Stephenson, & Co. sold 300-CFOssbreds at Iss, and 270 merino ewes and wethers, the former at 6b and the latter at Used. We quote : Prime crossbrede, 3£d per lb ; merinos, i 2sd to 3i. iPriyately they have sold, for forward delivery. 2,300 erossbreds. Stokk Ciosriiß. — A. few odd lots changed hands during the week at about prices lattfly quoted. Well-conditioned bnllockß at from L 5 10s toL74 do heifers, at from L4 los to L 5 lOs. Fat Cattlb.— 2lo head were yarded, but -about one-half were little better than stores. Wright, Stephenson, -and Co. sold on account of Messrs James Shand, Wm. Souter, and Edwin Palmer, 85 head at from L7 lss to LlO lOs for bullocks, and L 6 I7s to L 9 for cows, equal to 27s per loolb for good quality, and 22s tor medium do. Fat Calves are in good request at from 30s to 653 -each. Auckland.— An advance of 5s per loolbs in fhe price of fat cattle is reported— quotations being 85s tto 60s i fat sheep, 4sd ; store -do, 8s to Us.
